Geneva Maria Escobedo is a second-generation Mexican American from Arizona. Her first book, Dichos de Mi Padre: Sayings of My Father was published in 2017. She is also a contributing writer in the anthology Our Spirit, Our Reality: Celebrating Our Stories. She received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University W. P. Carey School of Business and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. She retired after a thirty-year career in higher education.
