Tony Baron is the director of Azusa Pacific University Graduate School of Theology in San Diego and associate professor of Christian Leadership and Cultural Engagement. An ordained Anglican priest and pastor for twenty years, Dr. Baron holds a doctor of psychology degree from Alliant International University in San Diego and a doctor of ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. An author of six books, Dr. Baron’s two most recent books are titled, The Art of Servant Leadership: Designing Your Organization for the Sake of Others and The Cross and the Towel: Leading to a Higher Calling. He recently completed a workbook with noted author Ken Blanchard titled, Servant Leadership: Transforming Your Community as a Person of Influence.
Dr. Baron teaches, trains, and consults with corporate and church leaders around the world on how to lead and live for the sake of others. Some of his clients have included many Fortune 100 companies, including the United States Military Academy at West Point, United States Postal Service, Ford Motor Company, and denominational leaders world-wide. Dr. Baron was honored by the Federal Executive Board for his work after the Oklahoma City bombing of the Murrah building. He has received Board Certification in Forensic Medicine, Diplomate ranking in the American Board of Psychological Specialties, and has served as regional director of the Order of St. Luke Healing Ministry.
